NAKAMURA METHODOLOGY:
Respecting each student's pace.
A method developed by Ms. Fabiana Nakamura that combines survival techniques, motor development, and a humanized approach for all ages.
LEARNING TO SWIM IS A PERSONAL PROCESS.
The core premise of our methodology is respect for individuality. We understand that every child has their own pace of learning and biological and emotional development.
A Humanized Approach:
We do not impose generic goals. We adapt survival and swimming techniques to what the child is capable of achieving at each stage, ensuring consistent and trauma-free progress.
Respecting the Timeline:
Each student’s timeline is our metric. Whether it takes weeks or months, the goal is safety and aquatic mastery through patience and proper technique.
How confidence accelerates technical learning
CONFIDENCE BREEDS PROGRESS.
The primary goal of our method is to help students build self-confidence. When a child feels safe and capable, they become more receptive to the instructor's guidance.
-
Receptivity: A confident student absorbs information more easily, allowing for much faster and smoother technical progress.
-
Engagement and Motivation: To maintain interest and motivation, we use specific educational materials tailored to each age and skill level. Every training aid used in class serves a strategic technical and playful purpose.

SPECIALIZATION AND INCLUSION
Ms. Nakamura adapted her survival techniques to specifically serve students with special needs.
Inclusive and Survival Swimming.

Challenges:
Each student is unique and has their own specific characteristics, whether they are motor difficulties or a fear of putting their face in the water. Because of this, we maintain a focused and specialized approach, seeking individualized instruction to meet every student’s specific needs.
Adaptive Instruction:
Our adaptive program uses a technical foundation of water adjustment and survival to overcome barriers of fear, promoting independence and well-being through a 100% customized program.
